We are seeking a Robotics Engineering Intern to join our team at FloLabs Innovations Group , contributing to the cutting-edge development of our AGI humanoid robot. This role offers a hands-on experience in mechanical design, ASAP https://agile.human2humanoid.com/, prototyping, and robotics systems, working on next-generation intelligent robotics solutions.
Most recently, we’ve launched a new project focused on the development of our own humanoid robot - a major milestone in our mission to push the boundaries of intelligent systems and human-robot interaction. Interns who join our program may have the opportunity to contribute directly to this groundbreaking initiative.
As a Robotics Engineering Intern, you will design and prototype robotic components, conduct mechanical testing, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software systems.
Additionally, you will engage in continuous research and evaluation of emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This proactive approach ensures our team remains at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype robotic components using CAD software for mechanical assemblies and structural parts.
Conduct mechanical tests on robotic systems, analyzing results to identify design improvements and optimize performance.
Collaborate with engineering and software teams to integrate mechanical systems with electronic and control components.
Document design processes, creating technical reports, drawings, and specifications for future reference.
Evaluate AI-powered design tools to streamline prototyping, testing, and mechanical optimization.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workshops, contributing innovative ideas and problem-solving approaches.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong foundation in mechanical design, robotics systems, and engineering principles.
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD) for design and prototyping.
Familiarity with mechanical testing, robotic actuators, and kinematic systems is a plus.
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in design and testing workflows.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with engineers, software developers, and designers.
Interest in robotics innovation, AGI development, and emerging AI technologies.
